THE IMLS NEEDS YOUR HELP!
Due to cuts in federal funding, no thanks to Captain Chaos over here, the Institute of Museum and Library Services will be losing it’s funding. This last week was National Library Week. However, we want to keep the initiative going by helping the nation’s 123,000 libraries and 35,000 museums to stay open by donating to the IMLS.
Some would say libraries are the backbone of any community. It’s like Netflix, but with books. You can go to your local branch and read any book without even leaving the property. Or you can sign up for a library card and take the books home. And for the most part, it’s free.
WHERE TO DONATE:
Libraries are incredibly important. Some families may not have the resources to obtain a computer for their kids education, and that’s where libraries come in. Your kid’s education is obviously important, so why not donate what you can to the IMLS?
