CALL TO ACTION: Fax Mitch McConnell Over and Over and Over and Over…

WE WILL NOT BE SILENCED!

Tuesday, February 7, 2017, during the hearing to debate the confirmation of Senator Jeff Sessions as Attorney General, Senator Liz Warren attempted to read a letter written by Coretta Scott King. She was reading a letter written in 1986 opposing Jeff Sessions.

Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell advised Senator Warren she was violating Senate rules by impugning a fellow Senator. In fact, McConnell took a defensive stance later by saying,  “She was warned. She was given an explanation. Nevertheless, she persisted.”

Clearly, Mitch McConnell needs to feel the power of American women! We will not stand idly by while male senators silence the women of the US Senate!
