TAKE A STANCE AGAINST HATE SPEECH
Hatemonger and editor of Breitbart , Milo Yiannoplous, just scored a dirty book deal and we need to make sure it never sees the light of day.
Just this week Yiannopolous was given a $250K advance to bring out the autobiography Dangerous. The book is set to hit shelves by May and he’s already planning to take the novel and turn it into a reality series.
It was only months ago when he got the boot from Twitter for his online bullying of SNL cast member Leslie Jones. His racist Tweet campaign caused Ms. Jones to shut down her social media account due to the overwhelming hate she was put through.
Nevertheless, it’s all sunshine and roses for Yiannopolous. According to The Hollywood Reporter, he shamelessly gloated about not only surviving the Twitter scandal but how he got the lucrative deal:
Nevertheless, it’s all sunshine and roses for Yiannopolous. He’s forging ahead in the spotlight, even shamelessly gloating to The Hollywood Reporter about his lucrative dead.
“I met with top execs at Simon & Schuster earlier in the year and spent half an hour trying to shock them with lewd jokes and outrageous opinions. I thought they were going to have me escorted from the building — but instead, they offered me a wheelbarrow full of money”.
THERE ARE A FEW THINGS WE CAN DO
First and foremost we all need to band together and boycott Simon & Schuster until they put a plug in this deal. There are so much more options for buying books, and we don’t need to line the pockets of a publisher who’s giving hate speech a platform.
Letter bombing (no, not real bombs) is another way we can make a difference. Put it in writing that you’re standing up against this monster. Make sure they know you’re not giving them any more business and fostering hate speech is NOT OKAY!
Please send letters to both their US & Canadian offices, so execs in both countries know exactly how we feel!

To Whom it May Concern;
I am writing to address the book deal you have with Milo Yiannoplous. Giving a platform to hate speech is absolutely NOT OKAY.
Normalizing racism in an already torn country where people of color are consistently the subject of silencing is NOT OKAY. Yiannoplous history of racial slander and online bullying should disqualify giving him a bigger platform to spread his white nationalist agenda.
Until you shut down this deal, I will no longer be buying any of your companies products or from companies selling your books.
This is an atrocity you need to correct. Until you do so, your books will no longer grace our family bookshelves.
The more hands on deck for this project the better. We need to put pen to paper and get this done!
