Call to Action: SuitUp For The Environment!

CLIMATE CHANGE IS REAL AND WE CAN’T IGNORE IT ANY LONGER!

Too many people around the world aren’t doing enough to battle climate change. From simple things like turning off the tap while brushing your teeth, to walking to a store instead of driving, even simple things can make a big change over the course of time. To make matters worse, the incoming Trump administration has yet to come forward with a plan to protect the environment.

WHAT SUITUP NATION MEMBER CAN DO TO HELP!

We’re asking our #SUN members to SuitUp and get involved! There are a few ways to participate and we hope you’ll do them all!

The first is to educate yourself on what’s happening to the world around us. The following websites will help you learn about reducing your carbon footprint.

Second, we’d like everyone to commit to one small change a week to help Mother Earth. Make it something your entire family can get involved in and stick to. Use public transit, walk or bike when you can, turn off lights you’re not using, wear a sweater and turn the thermostat down a few degrees, or even set up a backyard compost and try to cut down on waste.

Lastly, we want you to take the pledge to reduce your carbon footprint and stand with The Nature Conservatory’s Call to Action! Immediate action on climate change is critical and this campaign calls on world leaders to begin putting The Paris Agreement into action. The longer we wait to cut harmful carbon emissions, the greater the danger to our environment.
